Multi-Car Crash With Injuries Shuts Down Route 25 in Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, CT — A two-car crash with injuries shut down part of Route 25 Tuesday night.

Shortly before 9:50 p.m., both companies of Brookfield volunteer companies responded to the scene of the accident at the intersection of Whisconier Road and White Pine Drive. Crews found both drivers outside of their vehicles and in need of medical attention.

A second ambulance was called in from Danbury to treat and transport the second driver.

Route 25 was closed for a short time while the vehicles were removed and a small fluid leak was cleaned up.
