National Guard Activated in Brookfield for Storm Cleanup
The Connecticut Air and Army National Guard are assisting with the cleanup.
BROOKFIELD, CT -- The Connecticut Army and Air National Guard were activated in Brookfield, Bethany and New Fairfield to assist with the clean up efforts following storms that devastated the area Tuesday. The Twitter account @CTNationalGuard on Friday showed guardsmen deploying bulldozers and chainsaws clearing fallen trees from roadways in Brookfield.
