Rain and Thunderstorms in Brookfield's Weekend Forecast

BROOKFIELD, CT — It's looking like it will be another dreary weekend coming up, with rain and thunderstorms in the forecast on both Friday evening and Saturday. The rainy weekend will bring seasonably lower temperatures, with highs in the low 80s and lows in the low 60s even creeping into the upper 50s.

However, things look to clear up for a comfortable Sunday with a high in the low 80s. According to the National Weather Service, here is a look at what you can expect weather-wise in Brookfield.

• Friday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly between 10am and 2pm. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. Southwest wind 5 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Friday Night: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70. Southwest wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
• Saturday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 2pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. West wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 59.
• Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.
