Republicans Vote in GOP Primary Tuesday

Local Republicans will have a hand in choosing their candidates for November's elections.

Connecticut’s Republicans are heading to the polls Tuesday for the 2014 GOP primary, which includes state races for governor, lieutenant governor and comptroller.

Polls will be open state wide from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. (see Brookfield’s voting districts below) for all registered Republicans.

Lt. Governor:
Penny Bacchiochi (convention nominee)
Heather Somers
David M. Walker

Comptroller:
Sharon J. McLaughlin (convention nominee)

POLLING PLACES


For this primary only, voters at District II (Brookfield High School) will be casting their ballots in the cafeteria instead of the gym. Voters at District I will use the gym at Huckleberry Hill Elementary, as usual.
