Roadwork Scheduled For Route 7 in Brookfield
Rumble strips are being installed along Route 7.
BROOKFIELD, CT — Rumble strips are being installed along Route 7 this weekend, forcing the closure of some lanes.
According to the state Department of Transportation, milling of the existing pavement on the shoulder of the road from Silvermine Road to Federal Road is slated for 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
The schedule may change, subject to weather conditions.
