How did you come up with name?

The shop is named after owner and master barber Gary R. Haggas.

What business are you In?

Gary’s Barber Shop and Shaving offers shaving and haircuts for men and women. Our new second barber, Amanda lovello, is a master women’s cosmetologist. She offers services in our new private salon for ladies located in the back of the shop. The entrance is separated from the men with through the rear entrance and boys barbershop.

Why start a business in this town?

I’m a second generation Brookfield graduate and a third generation resident.

What has been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?

We’re proud that we offer a throw back of a classic old time barber shop. We provide guests with a complimentary beer or beverage of choice in our comfortable waiting lounge, equipped with flat screen Tv’s and free WiFi. Our signature hot towel/ hot foam shave is performed with a straight edge razor which is our specialty! Once you’re done, get a shoe shine so you’ll look sharp the rest of the day. At Gary’s Barber Shop we go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction.
