BROOKFIELD, CT — Doctors and the government say you have to stay inside, and nobody is happier about that than your dog. If you don't have a dog, or feel there may be room in the homestead to foster or adopt another one, this may turn out to be your lucky day.

Happily Furever After Rescue in Brookfield has a line on Tito, a one-year-old, 30-pound lab/retriever mix. He was found as a stray in rural North Carolina, and according to Jaclyn Gartner, who heads up the rescue, he is ready to leave for Connecticut on Friday.

Tito "is a rambunctious and happy pup with a spunky personality," Gartner said. "He'd love to spend his days running, playing, and snuggling! He's a loving and playful boy with a good amount of energy, so he needs an active home that will be able to provide plenty of exercise."
