Tuesday is 'Cow Appreciation Day' at Chick-fil-A in Brookfield
Dress like a Cow. Get free food. Sounds like a plan...

BROOKFIELD, CT — Cow Appreciation Day is in effect Tuesday, July 9, at Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide, including the one at 56 Federal Road in Brookfield, through 7 p.m.
Customers showing up dressed in a cow-themed outfit will receive a free entree. Since employees must verify that the customer's couture is, indeed, appropriately bovine, orders must be placed in person and not via the restaurant's app.
Best known for its chicken sandwiches, Chick-fil-A has been featuring cows centrally in its advertising for 24 years, with the premise that cows promote the chain in the interest of self-preservation.
