Two ways to learn more about Housatonic Habitat home ownership

Housatonic Habitat for Humanity is offering two ways to learn more about first-time homeownership by hosting an online ZOOM meeting on May 25 at 7 pm and an appointment-only open house on June 5 from 12 to 4 pm.

The ZOOM session can be accessed by registering in advance at boxwoodinfosession.eventbrite.com and will focus on the application process for the condo at 6 Boxwood Drive, Unit 6 in Brookfield as well as other single-family homes currently on the drawing board for Myfield Lane, New Preston. According to Normann, "For many area families, owning a Habitat home costs less than a rental! Working families can buy their first home with fixed payments and then build a nest egg for their future."
