Zoners Approve Expansion of Manufacturing Firm into Brookfield
The company will be relocating from its existing facility in Danbury.
BROOKFIELD, CT — The Planning and Zoning Commission, along with the Inland Wetlands Commission, last week approved the construction of a new headquarters plant in town, the News-Times is reporting.
Branson Ultrasonics, a subsidiary of Emerson Electric, got the go-ahead to build the $53 million facility in the Berkshire Corporate Park. The plant is expected to employ 220 people and eventually generate $1.2 million a year for Brookfield in tax revenue.
Branson will be relocating its operations from its current HQ, located less than two miles away over the town line in Danbury.
