East Haven Softball Catcher Magdalena Barthel is a True Catcher and Great Hitter!
I have watched Magdalena since she was a freshman. Her confidence and decision making are rivaled by none and I have followed some great catchers, Jessica Stettinger EH, Gigi Russo NH and she is right up there with them. She sees the whole field and directs the defense, oh and did I mention she can hit the ball! She led the team in triples and had 4 HRs! Best of Luck Mags!

Made second team SCC in 2019.Was 2nd on team with a .424 batting average, 1st in RBI's with 26 and 1st in doubles with 7. Has great instincts as a catcher to go along with a great arm. Big things also expected from her."
