Bingo! Is Back At East Haven Senior Center

EAST HAVEN, CT — Many of the things the pandemic stole away, some big, some small, but all missed, are slowly but surely returning. For many folks in East Haven, Bingo at the Senior Center was one of those events that people loved, and missed when it went away.

But, Bingo is back! And the tables were filled with aficionados Friday when Mayor Joe Carfora visited to see many happy people filling the hall, for Bingo.

Carfora posted the visit to Facebook.

"B I N G O is in full affect at the Senior Center," he exclaimed saying he stopped by the senior center "just in time for the start of bingo."

He lauded center staff for all their efforts to get things back to a kind of normal.

"The Senior Center Staff has been amazing and our visitors are just as excited. I’m very pleased to see how smooth the opening and transition back has been for everyone. It was great to see some familiar faces and greet our new arrivals."
