East Haven Boy, 11, Displays His Amazing Talent

The New Haven Register has an inspirational feature on Peter Cestaro, 11, of East Haven.

Peter was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2, and his life changed at the age of 5 when the very shy boy was at a party, took the microphone and beautifully belted out a song, that surprised everyone, the Register reports.

Now at the age of 11, Peter has come a long way as he makes eye contact, but one thing hasn’t changed and that is his love of music.

Peter performed at the Silver Sands’ summer camp talent show this week and his own song “Mirror” has made him a Youtube sensation, attracting over 5,000 views already.
