East Haven Fall Classic 5K Road Race 2016 Details

EAST HAVEN, CT — Race Director Joe Riccio has announced that the 2nd annual East Haven Fall Classic 5K Road Race will take place the Saturday morning of Fall Festival weekend, Saturday September 10th, starting from the East Haven Town Green.

The event is presented through the sponsorship of East Haven Attorney Andrew M. Amendola, with the race being coordinated by Director Riccio and the Warren Street Social and Athletic Club of CT. Net proceeds will benefit the East Haven High School Co-op Marching Band and the Springs Learning Center.

In addition to the 5K there will also be a 2 mile Fitness Walk and two Kid Fun Runs for ages 6 and under and 7 to 11 years of age. The events will take place on Saturday September 10th with the following scheduled start times:

Kid’s Fun Run (6 and under) 8.45 am

Kid’s Fun Run (7-11 yrs) 9.00 am

5K Road Race & 2 mi Fitness Walk 9.30 am

Race Day Registration and Pre-registration packet pickup will be at the Gazebo beginning at 7.30 am. The race features a new 5K Flat, Fast, Certified Course and is a USATF Sanctioned Race (CT15034JHP). Race results will be posted on both the Fast Track Timing and Hi-TEK websites.
