East Haven High School Co-op Marching Band Heads to Disney

Over 35,000 spectators will line the streets to cheer them on as they play "Frozen Heart" from the Disney movie, "Frozen."

On Thursday, April 21, 2016, the renowned East Haven High School Co-op Marching Band leaves for Disney World in Orlando, FL.

A trip they take every four years, this year holds special meaning, as this past competition season was partially based on the magic of Disney, with their performance theme, “Young At Heart”, which featured the songs “Frozen Heart”, “White Rabbit”, “Someday My Prince Will Come”, and “Young at Heart”.

The band has again been chosen to lead the most prestigious of all the Disney Parks’ parades, Disney’s Electrical Parade, which takes place the night of Saturday, April 23rd. Over 35,000 spectators will line the streets to cheer them on as they play “Frozen Heart” from the Disney movie, “Frozen”.

Band members, the band boosters, and other parent volunteers worked hard all year to prepare for this trip and many fundraisers were held. The band is very much looking forward to this exciting performance.
