East Haven Rotary Club Hosts 'Anginette Wars' Fundraiser
Bakers and spectators are wanted. The event is April 6th from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm in the St. Vincent de Paul Church Hall.

From East Haven Rotary Club: The East Haven Rotary Club will be hosting a fundraiser entitled “Anginette Wars” on Thursday April 6th from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm in the St. Vincent de Paul Church Hall, 80 Taylor Avenue. Anginette Wars was previously hosted by St. Vincent de Paul School.
Prizes will be awarded for: Best Tasting Cookie, Most Decorative Cooke and Most Creative Table Display. Special guest judges are expected to be announced shortly. Complete information and Registration forms may be obtained at the Mayor’s Office in Town Hall, South Shore Laundromat (662 Coe Avenue) or on the Rotary website at www.easthavenrotary.org
Spectators can purchase tickets to vote; partake in some appetizers; enter the Rotary’s raffle for prizes which include Yankees tickets and of course enjoy the cookies ! Tickets are $ 15 per person and may be obtained by calling (203) 314-9342 or can be purchased online at: www.easthavenrotary.org

Proceeds from the event will go to the club, now in its 78th year, which remains dedicated and committed to improving the community and citizens of East Haven. Through its annual scholarship program and Student of the Month, the club recognizes and encourages achievement of high school students. Amber Alert Identification Cards, Clothe the Children, Free Thanksgiving Dinners delivered and Breakfast with Santa and the Easter Bunny for children are some of its other volunteer activities.
