East Haven Rep. Zullo Shows Support for Shop & Stop Strikers
A number of East Haven politicians have stopped by East Haven Stop & Shop, including State Rep. Joe Zullo, to show striking workers support.

EAST HAVEN, CT - You can East Haven State Representative Joe Zullo to the list of politicians who have stopped by the East Haven Stop & Shop to show striking workers support for their cause.
The strike is entering its sixth day as 31,000 workers in 240 Stop & Shop stores, including East Haven, are striking for better pay and protecting health and other benefits.
Zullo stopped by Stop & Shop on Monday night and said he would be returning today to try and talk with union stewards to get an update on negotiations.

Zullo, who is also East Haven's town attorney, said Mayor Joseph Maturo, Jr. also visited with workers over the weekend.
Also showing support has been two other announced candidates for mayor - Republican "Big Steve" Tracey and Democrat Councilman Joe Carfora.
