East Haven Woman Shows Mom How Special She Really Is

Help us celebrate Mother's Day 2018 by sending in your mother-daughter lookalike photo.

EAST HAVEN, CT — Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across Connecticut to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are, they'll always be your babies! and part of the fun of motherhood is watching your children grow up and enjoy the same things that you love.

In East Haven, Andrea Cifarelli says, "Mother’s Day is always the best day to show the woman who gave me everything how special she really is. Growing up she always made sure we had everything we needed or wanted and she would go without. My mom is such a strong and inspiring woman. She was always at softball games cheering me on or watching football games when I was a cheerleader. She deserves this day to know how much I truly appreciate her and everything she’s done for me and still does. Whenever we are out together people always stop and ask if we are twins."
