Merritt Award Committee Opens 2017 Nomination Applications
The awards will recognize East Haven residents who have contributed to the town.

From The Merit Award Committee: The Merit Award Committee has announced that nomination forms are now available for consideration by the committee to determine this year’s recipients, who will be honored at the award dinner, which will be held on Thursday September 7th at 6:00 pm at the Country House Restaurant on Route 80 in Foxon.
Nomination forms may be obtained from the Mayor’s office or at the Hagaman Memorial Library both on Main Street. Forms may also be downloaded from the town’s website: www.townofeasthavenct.org or received by email by contacting Mayor Maturo’s office at (203) 468-3204. Nominees must be an East Haven resident. Completed forms should be returned to the Merit Award Committee c/o Mayor’s Office, 250 Main Street, East Haven, CT 06512. All forms must be received by Friday July 14, 2017.
The awards, which recognize East Haven residents who have made contributions for the betterment of the Town, will be honored at The Merit Award Dinner, which is the kickoff event for East Haven’s largest event, its annual Fall Festival (now celebrating its 29th year), being held Friday, Saturday and Sunday September 8th , 9th and 10th on the Town Green.
