Obituary: Laura S. Serletti Consiglio, 77, of East Haven
A mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was a hairdresser and cafeteria worker and a paraprofessional in New Haven for 20 years.
Laura S. Serletti Consiglio of East Haven died Monday evening at the Hospital of St. Raphael Campus at YNHH. She was the beloved wife of Anthony M. Consiglio (Branford Shoe Repair).
Laura was born in New Haven June 16, 1943, daughter of the late Anthony and Virginia Gatta Serletti. Laura worked as a hairdresser prior to going to work for the city of New Haven as a cafeteria worker and a paraprofessional for more than 20 years until retiring. She was a member for many years of the Silver Sands Beach Club.

Besides her husband, Laura is survived by her children, Renee (Michael) Salafia of Guilford, Michael Consiglio (Janet) of East Haven and Andrea (Justin) Gladwin of Guilford; her grandchildren, Michael (Kristina) Turcio, Laura (Brian) Russo, Eric Turcio, Ava and Jake Gladwin, Michael, Ashley and Anthony Consiglio; and her great-grandchildren, Amora Rose Turcio, Aurora Consiglio and Christopher Mulhall; her sisters, Phyllis Anastasio of New Haven, Susan Finkle of East Haven, Barbara Novicki of New Haven, Roberta McNeil of Florida, and her brother, Anthony Serletti of New Haven. She was predeceased by her brother Salvatore Serletti.
Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Monday morning at 11:00 in St. George Church, Guilford.
