Lois, who was born in New Haven in 1941, was a beloved wife and mother.

Lois Hegelwald DeCrosta, 80, beloved wife of James DeCrosta of East Haven passed away June 17, 2021. Loving mother of Donna and Brian DeCrosta both of East Haven and the late Mark DeCrosta. Sister of Michael Lemoine of Tucson, AZ and the late Joan Cavallaro and Frank Hegelwald. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Lois was born in New Haven March 13, 1941 a daughter of the late Martin and Eileen Riley Hegelwald.
Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Wednesday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call WEDNESDAY MORNING from 9:30-10:30.
