Obituary: Phyllis Fusco Tinari, 88, of East Haven

Phyllis Fusco Tinari 88, of East Haven wife of Robert Tinari Sr. passed away on June 29, 2021 in Yale New Haven Hospital St. Raphael Campus. Loving mother of Robert (Augusta “Cookie”) Tinari Jr. and Mark Tinari all of East Haven. Grandmother of Michael Quoka and Tanya Liquori. Great grandmother of Mia Quoka and Sveva and Saba Liquori. Sister of the late Frances “Babe” Raffone and Frank Fusco. Phyllis was born in New Haven on October 25, 1932 daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Simone Fusco.

Prior to her retirement Phyllis was a manager at Anthem BlueCross BlueShield and an LPN at St. Raphael's Hospital.

Phyllis is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in Our Lady of Pompeii Church FRIDAY morning at 11:00. Interment will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. THERE WILL BE NO CALLING HOURS. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association 322 Eighth Ave. 7th floor New York, NY. 10001.
