Old Stone Church Johnson & Johnson Vaccine Clinic Canceled
J&J vaccines paused after 6 developed blood clots. People slated to get that shot at the church will get new appointments, another vaccine.
EAST HAVEN, CT — The COVID-19 vaccine clinic that was to be held at the Old Stone Church Tuesday has been canceled as a result of the “pause” on the Johnson & Johnson vaccine called for by federal health and safety agencies after six people developed blood clots.
A call to the church found that while that vaccine will not be administered, a representative of East Shore District Health is on hand to reschedule people for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines at upcoming clinics.
