School Bus, Minivan Crash Sends Van Driver To Hospital, Kids OK
No kids were hurt in the at 2:30 p.m. crash on Main Street and Boston Post Road, but van driver sustained injuries, the fire chief said.
EAST HAVEN, CT — A crash involving a school bus and a minivan sent the van driver to the hospital with minor injuries, but, East Haven Fire Chief Matt Marcarelli said, no children were injured.
Marcarelli said a call came in around 2:35 p.m. of an accident at the intersection of Main Street and Boston Post Road. In the photographs Marcarelli shared with Patch, the minivan involved in the crash appears to be a local florists' delivery vehicle.
Marcarelli said "all the students are OK."
