- The museum will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the months of August and September. A limited number of tickets will be sold each day for specific time slots. Tickets are available online now and all tickets must be purchased in advance for our August and September operation. The admission price, scheduled for a nominal increase this year, has rolled back to last year's price.
- The museum will not accept cash at this time. The museum store will also remain closed however, the museum store will be online for shipping and pickup as of Aug. 1.
- Visitors will be greeted by volunteer staff outside the Sprague Visitors Center for instructions and online admission redemption. The Visitors Center will be opened for restrooms use only. Visitors and staff MUST wear face coverings. Although we are limiting the number of people on the campus, social distancing will still be enforced.
- All touch points on trolleys and in the Visitor’s Center will be cleaned frequently
"I can’t emphasize enough that the health of our visitors, staff and volunteers is priority and every step taken to reopen has been made with that in mind. We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable during their visit with us and may find that additional steps need to be taken in accordance with changing state and federal guidelines," Pronto said.
"All of this comes at a cost to us. Unfortunately, we were not able to take advantage of an incredibly beautiful spring. With special events canceled and with a limited operation continuing in 2020, our Museum will suffer a financial loss this year."

Pronto asked if folks would consider "a donation to our summer appeal."
"Perhaps you were planning to bring the family earlier this year and would consider donating the price of your admission or any amount to help us keep our mission alive," he said. "Maybe our Museum brings back a fond memory of your own childhood and you’d like to support building more memories for children."
