Now open for cooling off and summer fun, the splash pad had been shuttered since summer 2019. And the hours have been extended.

EAST HAVEN, CT —The last time kids frolicked at the splash pad at Cosey Beach Park across from the East Haven Town Beach, was the summer of 2019.

As Michelle Benivegna, East Haven's assistant director of administration and management, explained, the delayed reopening was "due to some needed repairs to the splash pad and the pavilion."

She said that as it has not been operational since 2019, some parts needed to be replaced.
