Tampa Bay Lightning Pick Center Nick Capone In 2020 NHL Draft
The East Haven hockey player is the 126th-rated skater in North America by the National Hockey Leagues's Central Scouting.
EAST HAVEN, CT — In the sixth round of the National Hockey League 2020 draft, the Tampa Bay Lightning picked East Haven's Nick Capone.
According to the NHL, Capone is committed to play at UCONN. He is the 126th-rated skater in North America by NHL's Central Scouting.
The right shot was the third center drafted by the Lightning in the 2020 draft.

Capone played last season with Tri-City of the United States Hockey League and posted seven goals and 19 points in 34 games while also compiling 96 penalty minutes, according to the NHL.
