For Those Eligible Now, Here's How To Sign Up For COVID Vaccine

EAST HAVEN, CT —While there's a call for volunteers for vaccine clinics, there's also currently a scarcity of vaccine, Mayor Joseph A. Carfora said, which may lead to a delay in ensuring all those eligible during this phase 1B of the vaccine roll out. He said it will "take time" to vaccinate all those age 75 and older due to vaccine supply.

He notes that those eligible must be registered in the state's Vaccine Administration Management System, known as VAMS. Register here. Or, visit the town's website and click on "COVID-19 Vaccine Registration" under the "Latest News" section here.

Once the online registration is completed, people will get an email with further instructions.
