For whom does the bell tolls, does it tolls for thee?

Or for the political elite; aka the Republican and Democratic Party?

Perception is reality and reputation is everything.

That the most important if not the most expensive decisions we make are strongly influenced by these elements.

That the name East Haven elicits perceptions that impede its potential for social and economic growth is irrefutable.

But my election to the office of the mayor will literally and figuratively wipe the slate clean for our town for it will have the intrinsic value of changing people’s perception, not only of its government but of who we are as a people.

And on that basis alone those barriers, those negative images, will just become relics of the past for the promises of the future will be our administration’s preoccupation.

And just as significant, my rise to the occasion will be the dawning of a new era and will open new vistas of opportunities that were once held as dreams and hopes but are now an attainable reality.

And that fundamentally, is the reason I am in this race.

What I will do immediately:

Request a departmental list showing what each department do; when they do it and the number of personnel that does it including an inventory of their particular resources.

Create a master plan for development.

While that is taking place; review political appointees personnel record to retain or replace.

Creation of a special office that will be tasked to receive and address resident’s complaints.

All these in addition to my previous stated plan (follow the link) on what I aim to accomplish as mayor.
