Fairfield One of Most Expensive Zip Codes: Forbes

Fairfield and Southport were both ranked on Forbes’ annual most expensive zip code list.

Southport was ranked No. 367 overall while Fairfield came in at No. 425.

The median sale price for a home in Southport is $1,160,904, according to Forbes. There was an inventory of 85 homes as of Nov. 10 and the average home spent 177 days on the market.

Southport ranks just above Soquel, California and was one spot below New York City on the list.

For Fairfield, the median sale price of a home is $1,067,369.There was an inventory of 394 homes and the average home spent 175 days on the market.

Fairfield ranks one spot above San Diego, California and is just below Agoura Hills, California, Redwood City, California and Palisades, New York.
