After 50 years of marriage, I lost my wife this past January and moved back to town from Newtown. A good friend of mine introduced me to the bocce league, and I actually knew a number of people from Roger Ludlowe high school, 1967. All of the other people I met were so accepting and nice. It was something I needed in my life at this time.
How has this made a difference in your 2025?
During the season we got together for league night and a couple more times each week to practice. I looked forward to bocce days.
What do you wish others knew about what you?re thankful for?
If something happens that could possibly make you depressed, try to find an activity with other people to give yourself some good thoughts and somewhere to spend your time.
