Iconic 19th Century Stone Structure Home Sold in Fairfield
The three-family structure contains an active, inconspicuous cell tower, according to the realtor.

FAIRFIELD, CT — An iconic stone structure property on Soundview Avenue has been sold for $755,500, the realtors announced on Wednesday.
Barbara L. Pearce, CEO and President of Pearce Real Estate, announced in a press release that Eileen Russell and John Bergin, two Pearce Commercial Pros in the Company’s Milford Commercial Office, successfully represented the owner and buyer in the sale of 300 Soundview Avenue.
The three-family investment property, owned by Patricia O’Boyle, was purchased by 17 Mile, LLC, of Pennsylvania. The iconic, stone structure was built in the mid-19th century and was converted to a three-family house and divested of much of its acreage nearly a century later.

She specializes in leasing and selling retail, office, and light industrial space in the Fairfield and New Haven County commercial markets.
Prior to her career in commercial real estate, Russell, for more than 30 years, worked as an Information Technology professional in New York City and Fairfield County. She holds a BA in Mathematics from Georgian Court University in Lakewood, N.J. and an MBA from the University of Connecticut/Stamford. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Milford Yacht Club and serves on their Race committee. She was on the committee for the Devon Rotary Coastal Classics House Tour which raised $10,000 for the Beth El Shelter, and volunteers at Milford Hospital and Columbus House. She has been an ardent supporter of the Pancreatic Action Network.
Bergin has been a real estate broker since 1984, specializing in commercial and industrial lease and sale properties. Before entering the commercial real estate field, he had a 15-year career in the information field with a Fortune 500 corporation. A lifelong resident of Milford, he received his degree in marketing and finance from Nichols College of Business Administration in Massachusetts. Bergin holds memberships in the Greater New Haven Association of Realtors® (GNHAR), Connecticut Association of Realtors® (CAR), National Association of Realtors® (NAR), and the Commercial Investment Division (CID) of the GNHAR. Over the past decade, he has been the recipient of ten CID "Deal of the Year" recognitions for land sales, industrial sales, and investment sales. He is a past president of the Milford Literacy Center, past president of The Milford Club, a director of the Milford Chamber of Commerce, member of Milford Progress, and chairman of the literacy committee for the Devon Rotary Club.
