To the Editor:

I am writing to urge all Fairfield residents who care about the future of Fairfield to support Mike Tetreau for First Selectman on Election Day. In today’s world it is very easy to become disillusioned with our elected officials who too often put politics in front of what is best for us. Mike Tetreau always has our best interest at heart when making decisions that impact our daily lives.

Mike grew up in Fairfield and cares deeply about our community. He is not a career politician but rather a true public servant, working to ensure Fairfield is the best place to work, raise a family, and retire.

Mike is an experienced leader who has already seen Fairfield through some very difficult times. I find great comfort knowing Mike is at the helm. Mike knows that our children are always our best investment, which is in stark contrast to his opponent, who as Chief Administrator in Ansonia cut summer school, the arts, and music.

Mike restored funding to our libraries, increased senior services, and is ensuring our roads are safe and in good condition, just to name a few of his accomplishments, all while delivering the lowest tax increase in 15 years.

Fairfield is thriving under Mike Tetreau’s leadership. I am proud to support Mike and hope you will join me on November 3rd as we cast our votes for Mike and for Fairfield’s future.
