1 Displaced From Home After Fire In Hamden
Crews extinguished an apartment fire over the weekend in Hamden.
HAMDEN, CT — One person was displaced from their home after a fire at an apartment complex Sunday morning in Hamden, according to officials.
Crews responded to a fire alarm at an apartment building in the 300 block of Pine Rock Avenue. Arriving units found smoke come from the third floor, officials said.
The response was upgraded to a working fire and a second alarm brought all Hamden Fire Department units to the scene, along with the fire marshal, building officials and CERT team, according to officials.

Officials said the fire was quickly extinguished while residents were evacuated. One resident was displaced and another resident was hospitalized for minor issues, officials said.
The American Red Cross is providing assistance to the displaced resident.
