Alltown Fresh In Hamden Offering Curbside Pickup

HAMDEN, CT — Alltown Fresh in Hamden is now offering order ahead and curbside pickup in an effort to “make social distancing easier while still getting healthy, nutritious meals into customers’ hands” amid the new coronavirus, officials announced.

“We understand how hectic life is right now especially with kids home from school and also balancing work for parents,” Alltown officials wrote in a news release.

Customers can call about 30 minutes ahead to the Alltown Fresh in Hamden at 475-241-0023 and place an order from the menu, which includes items such as avocado toast, smoothies, protein-packed salads and more. The service is also available at the Waterbury location (call 475-313-1302).

When customers arrive at the location, call the store again when they are parked outside the store located at 1941 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden and an employee will then bring their item(s) straight to their car.

“The health and well-being of customers and employees are top priority and they want to continue to offer healthy food options to the community while not increasing any potential risks,” according to the news release. “Alltown Fresh specializes in healthy food with an emphasis on organic, natural, vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free offerings.

“Alltown Fresh is also making further efforts to help combat the spread of COVID-19. At all locations there is extra attentiveness to hand washing, increased hygiene practices, additional sanitation procedures for all surfaces, key pads, fuel pump handles, and door handles. The store has ceased all food sampling, started to use reusable mugs, and all team members are hyper vigilant for food safety procedures.”

The stores are open 24 hours a days and customers can make call ahead curbside orders during the kitchen’s hours of operation, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
