Bank Robbed In Hamden: Police

Police are asking for help with identifying a man accused of robbing a bank in Hamden.

HAMDEN, CT — A TD Bank was robbed Thursday morning in Hamden, according to police.

Police said the TD Bank at 2992 Dixwell Ave. was robbed around 10 a.m.

A man entered the bank and handed a note to the teller and left with an undisclosed amount of money, according to Capt. Ronald Smith. No injuries were reported.

The robber was described as a black man in his 30s, 6-feet tall with a slim build who was wearing glasses and a bright orange short-sleeve shirt.
