Boy Battling Leukemia Visits Hamden Firefighters

Hamden's Christian Reynoso, 4, has a passion for firefighting and got a special tour of the department's Tower Ladder this week.

Christian Reynoso, a 4-year-old Hamden boy battling leukemia with a passion for firefighting, visited with Hamden firefighters earlier this week.

A GoFundMe account has been launched on his behalf, Fire Trucks for Christian, with all proceeds going to help support him and his family as he undergoes treatment.

We are proud to have been part of little Christian’s day today. You may have heard lately about four-year-old Christian Reynoso, who was just diagnosed with leukemia. Christian has a passion for firefighting that has inspired firefighters from across Connecticut, the country, and the globe to help support him.

Christian got a special tour of our Tower Ladder today. We are happy in sharing the news that he is now back at home from the hospital. He still has a long road ahead with many more months of chemotherapy.
