Slyce Restaurant recently lost its liquor license and started a BYOB policy.

HAMDEN, CT — Town officials are looking for ways to ban the "bring your own alcohol' policy at Slyce Restaurant after the establishment lost its liquor licence.

The state Liquor Commission denied approval for the restaurant to renew its license after a number of people complained of violence outside the establishment, according to the New Haven Register.
