Chili Cook Off set for Saturday in Hamden

A Chili Cook Off to benefit Sleeping Giant Builds house building efforts will be held Saturday, Feb. 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hamden Elks Lodge, 175 School St.

Novice chili chefs are invited to compete for prizes and bragging rights in this tasty fundraising event. Participants get to sample as many chilies as they’d like, as well as enjoy their favorite beverage (cash bar).

Participants will vote to determine which chef will walk away with the coveted “Best Chili 2015” award.

Cost is $20 per person at the door ($15 pre-registered)

Kids under 12 are admitted for free
