Driver Killed In Hamden Crash: Police
Police said the driver sped through a stop sign and hit a snowbank before crashing into a utility pole.
HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden man was killed in a crash Sunday night, according to police.
The driver, 40-year-old Thomas Henderson, was speeding on Morse Street around 10:30 p.m. and failed to stop for a stop sign at Prospect Street, according to police Capt. Ronald Smith.
The vehicle struck a snowbank and then a utility pole, according to Smith.

Hamden firefighters pulled Henderson from the vehicle; he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Smith. His body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
