Former Councilman Making 3rd Run For Mayor Of Hamden
The Republican is entering the race for mayor – 12 years after his last run.

HAMDEN, CT — Former Legislative Councilman Ron Gambardella is making a third run for mayor of Hamden – 12 years after his last try, according to the New Haven Register.
The Register reports Gambardella, a Republican who unsuccessfully ran for mayor in 2007 and 2009, is expected to formally announce his candidacy at a rally on June 17 at Hamden Memorial Town Hall.
Gambardella told the Register he didn’t think he’d ever run for mayor again, but was encouraged by the youth and enthusiasm he saw at a Republican Town Committee meeting.
