Hamden Arts Commission Presents Concert of Brazilian Music
The series is presented with generous support from the estate of former Commissioner Emeritus Peter C. Hereld.

The Hamden Arts Commission continues its 2013 -2014 Peter C. Hereld Sunday Performance Series this Sunday, Nov. 24, at 2 p.m. with a concert of old and new Brazilian songs by Sambeleza.
The musicians of Sambeleza are outstanding U.S. and Brazilian interpreters of the great songs of the bossa nova and samba traditions, as well as outstanding jazz artists in their own right. The trio includes vocalist Isabella Mendes, guitarist Joe Carter and bassist Jeff Fuller.
The event will be held in the handicapped-accessible Thornton Wilder Hall at the Miller Cultural Complex, 2901 Dixwell Ave. Admission is $7 general admission and $5 for senior citizens and students and children 12 and under. Tickets are sold at the door only.
