Hamden Cancels 2016 Memorial Day Parade
The parade has been canceled due to an inclement weather forecast, but the town still plans to hold a ceremony indoors to honor veterans.
HAMDEN, CT — Hamden’s Memorial Day Parade, scheduled for Monday, May 30, has been canceled due to inclement weather forecasts, Mayor Curt Balzano Leng announced on Saturday evening.
Although the parade is canceled, a ceremony honoring Veterans will still be held inside the Hamden Middle School at 11 a.m.
Hamden Middle School’s address is 2623 Dixwell Avenue. All are welcome to attend.
