Re: Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Council Approved Budget-Override of Mayor’s Veto

Dear Mayor Leng,

Please be advised that the Legislative Council, at its meeting held June 23, 2020, voted to override the Mayor’s veto action, from June 19, 2020, of the Legislative Council Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Approved Budget. The "Council Approved Budget" is therefore sustained to its initial approval, held at its meeting on June 4, 2020, extending into June 5, 2020. The "Council Approved Budget" is therefore sustained and approved for the fiscal year July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021 in the amount of $248,928,679 by a roll call vote of 14 yes, 0 no, 1 absent and O no-votes.
