Hamden Collaborates To Place Flags for Veterans

The Hamden Veterans Commission, along with the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, will be placing flags on the graves of Veterans for Memorial Day.

Mayor Curt Balzano Leng announces that the Hamden Veterans Commission, with the help of the Hamden Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, will be placing American Flags on the graves of Veterans as part of the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend.

This was made possible with the help of Beecher and Bennett Funeral Service, Howard K. Hill Funeral Service, Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, and Peter H. Torello & Son.

If your Veteran’s grave does not have a flag by May 31st, please feel free to stop by and pick one up at the above sponsors or at Mayor Leng’s Office in the Government Center, located at 2750 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden CT 06518.
