Hamden Hidden Farmers Market and Mike DelGuidice in Hamden!

Two great events happening in Hamden this week - The Hamden Hidden Farmers Market and the second Free Summer Concert ft. Mike DelGuidice

Two great events happening this week in Hamden at Hamden Town Center Park - First: The Hamden Hidden Farmers Market takes place tomorrow, Thursday July 11th from 4-7:30 in the Miller Library Parking lot. It is slightly out of sight from the road so look for the signs out front of the Library tomorrow to tell you where to go! It looks to be a great evening to come out for food- truck dinner and to listen to live music on the Red Barn lawn - TN3 will be playing tomorrow between 5-7pm (Thanks, Bill Lastomirsky!) Think of if like an outdoor happy hour but with a Spuds baked potato instead of a cocktail! Farmers on deck include: Bussa Orchards, Amelia's Florist and Farms, JC Farms and Schulze/Flowers from the Farm. Be sure to stop at each farm table to see what each farm offers! Food Trucks on hand for your dinning pleasure tomorrow include: Spuds Your Way, Holy Guacamole, Sugar Cupcakes, Moon Rocks Cookies, DiSorbos, Drummerboy Coffee, Whole G Bakery, and more. THEN, on Friday, July 12th, Mike DelGuidice will be here with his band Big Shot to headline the Hamden Arts Commission and Hamden Department of Arts and Culture second Free Summer Concert. The Future Heavies will open for DelGuidice at 7:30 and Mike takes the stage around 8:15ish. DelGuidice graciously took time out of touring with Billy Joel to be here to play for us. (If it rains too heavily on Friday the show will be moved to the Hamden High School auditorium with limited seating available). Follow announcements at www.hamdenartscommission.org
