Hamden Heroes at The Children Center of Hamden

On Saturday, May 22, the town of Hamden recognized essential employees from several organizations who are working the front-lines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Pictured from The Children's Center are teacher Filomena Zuba, custodian Jorge Aldana-Mejia and direct care worker Shaneva Gibbs. These three employees are recent Employees-of-the-Month at the Center and were chosen to represent their hundred-plus co-workers. The Hamden Heroes event included speeches of gratitude from local, state and federal officials and musical tributes performed by the Life Changing Outreach Ministries Choral.
