Hamden Holds 'Positive Choices' Design Contest
This contest is in support of the Hamden Youth Network's prevention efforts to keep away from alcohol and drugs.

From Hamden Youth Services Bureau: The Town of Hamden Youth Services Bureau, Hamden Public Schools and the Hamden Youth Network with support from Outfront Media, is sponsoring a Substance Abuse Prevention Billboard Design Contest through a grant from the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. This contest is in support of the Hamden Youth Network’s prevention efforts to keep Hamden youth involved in positive activities and away from unhealthy substances such as alcohol, tobacco and drugs.
Eligible entries must: be submitted by a Hamden resident youth who is a student in ninth through twelfth grade (Home schooled children are also eligible-ages 14-18); follow required design specifications; and have an official entry form completed. Entry forms will be distributed through the Hamden Youth Services Bureau located in the Keefe Community Center 11 Pine Street in Hamden and through Connections class at Hamden High School. Submission deadline is May 16, 2017. No submissions will be accepted after May 16th.
