Hamden Native Wins Golden Globe Award
The Hamden native was a winner at the Golden Globes awards show on Sunday night.

HAMDEN, CT — Hamden native Anthony Rossomando was a winner at the Golden Globes awards on Sunday night, according to WTNH News 8. Rossomando, 42, won for Best Original Song for “Shallow,” the song he co-wrote along with Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt for the “A Star Is Born” soundtrack, according to WTNH.
Rossomando, whose father Fred Rossomando is a longtime music teacher in Wallingford, is a member of the band Dirty Pretty Things and reportedly helped the movie’s stars Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga with their guitar skills, according to the New Haven Register.
