Bernice (Lassar) Wechsler, 89, of Mill Pond Village, Hamden, devoted wife of the late Maxwell Wechsler, died at her home on Sept. 26, 2013.
Born in Brooklyn,NY., May 23, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Samuel & Sophie (Grund) Lassar and the beloved mother of Alison (Allen) Rubin, Emily (Jim Lindner) Wechsler, and the late Lenore Konigsberg. She also is survived by eight cherished grandchildren and four treasured great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at New Montefiore Cemetery, Wellwood Ave., Farmingdale, New York, Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.
